Imagine yourself strolling along the wild, sun-drenched coast of Southern Portugal, the scent of the Atlantic Ocean in the air, and a gentle breeze at your back.
Our journey begins in the charming village of Porto Covo, a place where whitewashed houses meet the deep blue sea. From here, we'll follow the ancient footsteps of local fishermen, a route that has connected these coastal communities for centuries. This isn't just a hike; it's a walk through history. You'll discover secluded coves and dramatic cliffs, passing by traces of the region's Moorish and Roman past. As we walk, we'll connect with the timeless rhythm of the Alentejo and Vicentina Coasts.
This trip is crafted by our Mountain Leader, Dimitris Despoiniadis, for your comfort and enjoyment. The daily distances are manageable for all fitness levels, allowing you to fully soak in the scenery without feeling rushed. And because we believe a truly great adventure should be free of heavy burdens, we offer optional luggage transportation to our accommodations each day. You'll only need to carry a small daypack, leaving you free to focus on the stunning landscapes.
Your evenings will be as enriching as your days. We've carefully selected a mix of traditional guesthouses and beautiful hotels with swimming pools, each offering a perfect blend of local charm and modern comfort. After a day of exploration, you can relax by the pool, refresh your senses, and prepare for the next day's adventure.
But the journey wouldn't be complete without a taste of local life! Southern Portugal is a paradise for food lovers. As we travel from Porto Covo to Odeceixe, you'll have the chance to savor the freshest seafood imaginable, from grilled sardines to succulent cataplana stews. We'll enjoy the famous Alentejo wines, renowned for their robust character, and discover local delicacies that will delight your palate. Every meal is an opportunity to connect with the region's culture and its warm, welcoming people.

Conditions for participation
Participants
The minimum number of participants is 5 people.
If this number has not been filled 30 days before departure, then the trip will be cancelled and the money paid by the participants will be returned, without any other obligation on the part of the organizers. Participants will be informed according to the contact information they have entered in the registration form.
The participant assumes full responsibility to judge whether they can participate in the trip without burdening their health, as well as to ensure that they will not endanger their health and safety, or those of other participants. The participant acknowledges and accepts that the weather in the outdoors is changeable and unpredictable; for this reason the organizers are not responsible for cancelling any excursions or changing plans for this reason. Also in the event that the participant is put at risk of either injury, loss of a limb, or life itself, the organizer's liability is limited to proper preparation and correct decision-making/choice/change of plan, and to providing instructions to ensure the physical integrity and mental and spiritual health of the participants as much as possible.
The participant is responsible and accountable for the honest declaration of their state of health, acknowledges and accepts that the organizer is not responsible for pre-existing injuries or health problems, as well as for any burden that their state of health may suffer from participation in the trip. In the event that the participant cannot cope with the planned trip/ excursions/ activities due to a false or insufficient declaration of their health status or unavailability (due to their own fault) of the equipment required, the organizers may remove the participant from the trip/ excursion/ activity, with the sole obligation of ensuring safety and calling official rescue assistance, if and when needed. The cost of the rescue is borne exclusively by the participant. In the event that the said participant puts the whole group or another member at risk, due to false or insufficient declaration of health status or problems, they shall bear the sole liability for any financial claim or any legal judgement.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any time.
