Sofia is a multifaceted individual with a passion for language, adventure, and community. As a seasoned professional translator and interpreter, she has bridged cultural and linguistic divides. Sofia is the visionary founder of The Lifetime Experience, a platform dedicated to inspiring and empowering travellers to live their best lives.

A lover of the great outdoors, Sofia is an avid Arctic traveller, having explored the breath-taking landscapes of the far north. Raised on the idyllic Greek island of Amorgos, she has a deep connection to nature and a love for physical challenges. As a dedicated trail runner and CrossFit enthusiast, she pushes the boundaries of human potential. Sofia is also the proud co-founder of the Amorgos Trail Challenge, a trail running race that that has inspired many islanders to take up the adventure sport and is embraced by the entire island community.

Babis Giritziotis
Photography Leader

With a camera in hand and a passion for the wild, Babis has spent the last 25 years capturing the beauty of the natural world. His extensive travels have taken him from the vast landscapes of Africa to the icy terrains of the Arctic. Closer to home, Mount Olympus serves as his personal photography playground, inspiring countless breath-taking shots.

To share his love for outdoor sports and photography, he founded Go Experience, a team of dedicated sport photographers specializing in capturing the adrenaline-fueled moments of trail running, mountain biking, and other thrilling races. In collaboration with The Lifetime Experience, he offers unique nature and wildlife photography trips to the Arctic and other photography destinations.

When he's not exploring the world, Babis enjoys spending time with his four dogs. Dividing his time between Thessaloniki, Greece, and his global adventures, he continues to inspire others with his stunning imagery and unwavering dedication to capturing the essence of the outdoors.

Dimitris Despiniadis
Mountain Leader

Dimitris, a renowned Greek mountaineer and long-distance hiker, has dedicated his life to exploring the planet’s wildest terrains. Over the past two decades, he has embarked on countless expeditions to the world’s most formidable mountain ranges, from the Andes in South America to the Himalayas and the Pyrenees. As a certified Mountain Leader and Wilderness First Responder, he possesses the expertise to organize and lead demanding multi-day hiking treks.

Beyond his personal accomplishments, including his historic finish as the first Greek competitor in the Tor des Geants ultra-trail race, Dimitris is passionate about sharing his love of mountaineering and hiking. He strives to introduce trekkers of all levels to the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Based in Litоchоro, near the majestic Mount Olympus, he continues to inspire those who seek adventure in the mountains.
